wpayers
Shiano is veering off the road here in Tampa. He's using college level tactics far too early in the season. Glennon has some upside but he is a slow plodding inexperienced sapling. A Flacco without the Flacco. Go out and grab the AZ def now!!!! And downgrade VJax and Martin. http://www.rotoworld.com/headlines/nfl/270865/bucs-bench-freeman-name-glennon-new-starter

NAUgrad
I know Glennon is a rookie, but he's better than you might think. He can really throw the ball. Not sure so much about reading defenses but given time, he could be a decent player for Tampa. I'm not ready to give up on V Jax just yet. Glennon has a great arm and he displayed decent pocket presence in the preseason. But he is nowhere close to the savior classification. He is a classic rookie and this move suddenly casts a rebuild shadow over the Bucs. No one saw this coming a month ago.
Avernus
I figure with the size tampa has at wr all he really has to do is just put it up for them to grab it out the air....I am teetering between him and Foles in my 2qb league because the injury clock is ticking for Vick....but then again I have nobody to drop either
kwolf68
Freeman is just horrible. Whether Glennon can become the QB or not I don't know, but now is the time to figure it out. Freeman will now be relegated as a journeyman bench player for the remainder of his career. He'll still be making plenty of money, being on the sidelines in the NFL for a few years...not a bad gig if you can get it, but his interest in fantasy football circles is now officially finished. Bedo
To be really honest how much worse can it get for VJAX? He has no TD's through 3 weeks and other then the 154 yards in week #1 he has had very average production. Week #2 was 77 yards and last week was 34 yards. Freeman is not a good passer, never was but he had the mobility factor which most of time got him in trouble. I am not saying Glennon is going to light it up and be a rock star but I think VJAX will still produce average numbers and has a better chance at touchdowns with Glennon's arm strength and his eight and speed. We saw a very average Weeden be out and give way to another QB who put up better numbers and i think Glennon will be ok and certainly have to throw a lot. Bronco Billy
TB needs to trade Freeman now. Damn it's hard to believe Schiano pissed away his talent. You guys seriously think he can develop Glennon? Good luck with that.

darin3
Freeman is a dud. Glennon could get mauled but it just takes a few bombs to V-Jax to make him (and Jackson) super fantasy-relevant this and in future weeks.
MTSuper7
How is this a downgrade for Martin? Defenses already play the run hard vs. Tampa. If anything, I smell some potential check down action in the passing game for Martin. Probably not a ton, but maybe 1-3 dumpoffs a game. It'll be interesting to see how Glennon does this weekend. Glad something is changing in Tampa because up to now, it hasn't been working.

As a Freeman owner I can't wait until he signs with someone else next year. He'll be back.
ffgreg
Luckily our o-line isn't too bad and Nicks should be pretty much 100% this week. We need to give Mike time in the pocket and let him do his thing. I also need a new avatar.

As soon as the guy feels pressure he starts making some really awful decisions and throws. If TB can keep him clean, he might turn put to be a poor man's Freeman. Teddy Bear. What's your point? That FF owners should roster players that they think will suck? If a guy is on my roster, there is some potential. With Freeman it is well justified. He has put up some very credible numbers. The question is whether he can be taught to do it with consistency. Schiano failed big time at that. Unless that 2010 was a fluke he does have some talent, and it is being wasted by TB. Edited September 27, 2013 by stevegrab
