Gourdeau
What is the #1 thing you streamers look for when picking your defence of the week to start. Do you look strictly at the matchup or are you looking at other things like home field, weather, history etc? This is my first year streaming and I'm having a hell of a time being right! This week i'm between the Steelers, Titans, Colts or the Saints. So far picking a D has been a crap shoot!
Endzone Is Near
I can tell you the Colts are you best option this week. Jaguars are dead last in offense, so you pretty much just want anyone facing them.
Shorttynaz
I look at homefield teams first then the matchups
Gourdeau
See I thought that last week with the Bills vs the Jets, up until last week, the Jets were near the bottom of Offense and the Bills were one of the top defences in fantasy, and I got hosed! Right now I've got the colts pegged into my line up but was looking at suggestions on any other factors to consider when choosing week to week
koralkillers
I think Titans are great start this week and you may consider holding them for a while..Colts you definitely are not going to want to hold on to..something to consider
Chief Dick
If KC is available I'd grab them in a second.

I have the Texans and tried to snag the Colts but missed out. I was able to pick up the Titans, though and I plan on keeping them unless the Texans start outperforming them. Gourdeau
KC is not available, could have got them with the # 1 waiver but didn't want to waste that on a D ...
Gourdeau
check that, the Titans are not available, Jets are, mixed those two up, Cowboys also up there and available Edited September 26, 2013 by Gourdeau
buddahj
I'm sure this is a great strategy if I could pick the right defense.
Ron677
I've streamed a different defense every week so far and scored 9+ points each time. I picked KC week 1 which got me 26 points against the Jaguars, Oakland week 2 for 9 points, and Saints week 3 for 12 points. I picked KC knowing Alex Smith is a defenses' best friend along with a great running game and knew the Chiefs have a lot of talent on defense and were too juicy to pass up against the Jaguars. I picked Oakland because they were a lot better than I thought they would be week 1 against Indy and I figured they would be able to get a solid score week 2 against the Jags. I picked Saints because their defense is extremely improved and they were playing at home against the weakened Cardinals (Fitz and Mendenhall started but were injured), plus the Cardinals have a bad offensive line that can be exploited. I should have played KC for another 20+ point performance, but seriously who saw that coming against the Eagles? This week I'm going KC again because they have been extremely impressive so far and are against the Giants who have given up the most fantasy points to defenses so far this year. Since KC isn't available I would go Colts if I were you. Playing a defense against the Jaguars has never failed me and the Colts surprisingly did very well against against the 49ers last week with 11 fantasy points. nelsosi
I've noticed an uptick in the number of teams streaming Ds this year. A few years ago, there were leagues where I was the only one doing it....now it seems up to half the league is doing it in many cases, which is making it harder to do successfully. Bronco Billy
Where did a ghey term like streaming come from?
Cowboyz1
New to this concept but let me see if I understand. Philly, Giants and Redskins would be considered Steaming defenses thus would not be to good in streaming right? However, the Cowboys defense seems to be the cream and would most certainly be used to stream because the front 4 steams of power and not vapors of dog $hit. Macksimus
I picked up KC, and I plan on keeping them for the remainder of the year since their schedule looks pretty favorable. ...I'm a believer now. I think it's a safe bet to go with the Colts this week if they were available.
