Shorttynaz
Is it my tv just with a bad picture or is the Rams field one of the worst looking fields in the league?

BeeR
Matches the team. This is one of the most inept performances I've seen in quite some time.

Big John
Astro Turf at its worst. Â It was one of the last NFL stadiums to use Astroturf, but it is now Field Turf.
Endzone Is Near
It's not AstroTurf...that doesn't exist anymore. However, it does look weird but it looks just like that when I go to the Saints games too. I think it's just the way field turf looks indoors or something...not sure. Rileyrott
Astroturf....Fieldturf,,,it all looks like crap.
stevegrab
FYI Â Astro Turf and Field Turf are both brand names of artificial turf. I'm not sure if its accurate to say there is no more Astro Turf, pretty sure these folks would disagree http://www.astroturf.com/ Â One more tidbit, Field Turf is a division of a French company (Tarkett Group). Big John
The baseball stadium in St Petersberg uses AstroTurf, but no NFL stadium does.
Rileyrott
I was using "Astro Turf" as a generic name, like "Scotch" tape or "Crescent" wrench. Prolly should have said "artificial" turf to be even more generic, I guess. You guys are tough!

Endzone Is Near
Generic use of the word understood, I just know from working in athletics a lot of people still tend to think football players are out there playing on the concrete that traditional "AstroTurf" was. For that reason, the term is rarely used anymore.
PPIchamp
AstroTurf = paid protestors to make an issue appear to have more supporters than it actually does. Common tactic used by climate change hoax believers, Unions, and Leftists in general.
