So Richardson gets to carry the load, and Brown is the backup. I thought TRich looked pretty good last week with only a few days to learn the playbook. (Heard he sat next to Luck on the flght to SF to go over stuff more.)

PS Colts please stop winning so we get a better draft pick in 2014 ;)

Hmmm...what if TRich goes 22-68-0 against the Jags? Could this be the start of gloatsville back in Cleveland? I still haven't gotten over this trade. Its just doesn't make sense. His body of work was right there in front of Cleveland's front office. They gave up on him.

Brown? You mean for the rest of the season, right?

 With there only being two healthy backs, and Richardson being only 10 days into his stay with the Colts, I do think most will be surprised by the amount of touches Donald Brown gets this weekend.

I've never played in the NFL but, can it be that hard for a RB to learn the playbook? I'm not talking knowing it like Peyton knows it..Im talking knowing it enough to get 20 or so touches and pick up a blitzer? These guys have been running and pass blocking for a long time..

The Colts are playing the Jags and the bench players might be getting a lot of reps.

Worse than I predicted. A COMBINED 66 yards and a score. (1 yard variety too). Trent is a very average RB. Numbers don't lie.

I'm not quite ready to say that yet . . . the Jags were selling out to stop the run . . . Luck had a very poor first half throwing the ball. I think the Colts only had 10 rushing attempts in the first half because the Jags were stacking up the box to stop the run. So the Colts threw a lot (24 times). Luck missed several open receivers. The game changed on the interception returned for the TD. In the second half, they didn't get back to the run until they were trying to grind out the clock, and once again, the Jaguars knew they were running it. The Colts were also missing two starters on the offensive line, and had their guard McGlynn slide over to play center. There weren't many holes.

That being said, I only saw one nice run from Richardson yesterday. He always seems to have someone hanging on an ankle. Is that from blocking? Not hitting the hole fast enough? I'm not quite sure yet.
