kingsofromance
I normally am not a big handcuff guy but this year I am all for it. The second tier of RBs is bad. I'd handcuff all of these backs before leaning on guys like Ridley or D Richardson for my RB3 Foster Charles Reggie Bush McCoy AP

I'd handcuff all of these backs before leaning on guys like Ridley or D Richardson for my RB3 Foster Charles Reggie Bush McCoy AP Honestly, Foster's "handcuff", Ben Tate, is actually startable in certain leagues. Ditto with Bush's (Bell). As for the others, Charles' 'cuff is kind of a mystery. AP's handcuff? Really? Only one on this list with a textbook "handcuff" is probably Bryce Brown to LeSean McCoy. Rileyrott
I would add: Forte (Bush) Gore (Hunter) Rice (Pierce) SJax (Rodgers/Snelling???) Lynch (Turbin)
doobwaa
RB went from a tremendously deep pool in August to a cesspool by week 4. ineptitude and injuries rule. i'd take anyone with a pulse at this point.
Scorcher
I would handcuff rice(Pierce) before AP, and Charles
darin3
I would handcuff rice(Pierce) before AP, and Charles That's assuming Pierce is even available.... I'd guess he's gone in pretty much any league. Along with Tate and maybe even Brown.
MikesVikes
I only roster handcuffs if I'm in a large draft only league and that isn't very often. But I do like backups that could be studs in their own right. Ben Tate, Bryce Brown, and Bernard Pierce are possibilities. Gerhard is a good backup but I would have more than 4 other RBs on my team before I would consider him. Usually if a starter goes down, there will be a hugh drop off in production or the plays are split up between more than one other back. Scorcher
That's assuming Pierce is even available.... I'd guess he's gone in pretty much any league. Along with Tate and maybe even Brown. I got really lucky and was able to pick up Pierce the week Rice went down. The only time handcuffs seem to be bad to me is when the no.1 plays but is gimpy: then you have no idea who to play.I got burned this week by playing Pierce thinking he would do better. Rice was crappy also so it was a lose-lose. I was also a little wary of R Bush, so like an idiot I played Pierce and sat Bush thinking Pierce would have the better game. I have read where people have said it is better to make your picks on RB3's than handcuffs. This year it is hard to tell which way to go.In another league I have Tate and Foster due to Foster's iffy start but now it looks as if Foster is good to go. kingsofromance
Ya, I agree AP and Charles are stretches. That being said I think Knile Davis would do just fine it given a featured role.

Knile is a BMF'r. He would almost certainly be the workhorse if Jamaal went down.
Tripleshot
Every year I ask my wife, is this the year of the handcuffs? She always says no. Thankfully, my secretary says yes, so she has a job until the wife agrees to the handcuffs.
