kwolf68
Unlikely. With the Patriots you never know anything about their injuries and while Amendola is said to be very close (this week is even possible), that may mean that Amendola is out for the year. With new England, trust nothing.
darin3
This, at least to me, screams of them not trusting Amendola to ever be healthy... and with the amount of work they give Edelman (kick/punt returning) and about 90 times the amount of work in the offense that he's accustomed to... they figure he'll break down at some point. This is adding Welker-lite, version 3.0 (and an older model that doesn't work as well but could get the job done in a big time pinch). Shorttynaz
He's gonna be there long enough for Brady to sling one into the side of his helmet - of which causes another concussion and he's out for the rest of the season..
Tripleshot
Are they cornering the market on injury-prone wr's? Maybe they can trade for Malcolm Floyd and Danario Alexander next. Edited October 3, 2013 by Tripleshot

Scorcher
I don't think I would trust Collie on any team, to me he is a WR Javid Best. I think he should give up the game.
CaptainHook
Very strange signing. Something is up with Amendola.
WashingtonD
Picked him up in leagues where he was available and were deep enough to roster him (32/16 teamers). If he's healthy he's a good route runner with good hands. But he's never healthy. Worth a spot in deep leagues.
CaptainHook
As WR-needy as the 49ers are . . . they let him go . . . I see very little value.
Bronco Billy
They picked up Collie as health insurance on Amendola?
RJV
If this guy sneezes to hard he will get a concussion. I can't believe the doctors are letting him suit up and play.
wpayers
This just in.... Boston (AP) October 04, 2013; 9:02 PM EST - The New Patriots sign free agent wide receiver Howard Twilley to a 1 year contract. After today's walk through, New England head coach Bill Belichick testily defended the signing, "Grhhh...hmmm, you never can have enough slow 5'-10" white guys on your team...mubmbumm. We are what we are. Just look...ahhh, at me"
