luke davenport
When will Joe the Genius commit to L. Miller even when the going gets a little rough?

bostonsoxandy
Starting to doubt if the talent is in Miller for a top-10 season like I thought he would have...still going to give Miller atleast a few more weeks to get going.
darin3
Nope, because I knew better than to draft him.

Based on your assessment of him, the Dolphins' apparently now crappy OL, or how Joe the Genius was going to (mis)use him? I think if this guy is on most other teams he is a stud. That, and the fact that the team announced that Daniel "Mr. Upright Running McFumbleman" Thomas was neck-and-neck with Miller just before the season kicked off clued me in that this supposed "stud in the making" could come with more risk than I was comfortable taking on. Sorry about your Aunt. I really thought that the pre-season Thomas talk was a smokescreen. And even it wasn't, that once everyone saw Lamar vs. Daniel outright, there would be no competition (which there isn't anyway.) Bottom line - Phins need to commit to Lamar. More than six rushes anyway.
flemingd
I never understood the fascination, all this talk about 3rd round pick. He hadn't shown jack, the offense hadn't shown jack, the coaching staff hadn't shown jack, and the QB hadn't shown jack. Unless you're an AP or Charles level of physical talent, you need contributions from other areas of the team to get your FF points. There was never any indication that Miller had that talent nor the supporting cast.

Both had very similar situations where I don't think you could call them or their supporting casts proven commodities, but high risk high reward. luke davenport
In any event, they should not give up on him so easily, especially in a tight game. Six (6) attempts? The Raven have struggled on the ground and Rice hasn't been lighting it up. But look now, 20 rushes, 2 TDs and it opened the passing game. I didn't intend for this to diverge into a debate about results. Suffice it to say, though, that for every hit in that group, there are a half dozen or so misses, so I really need to be convinced about a guy to take him there. I wasn't in Miller's case. MTSuper7
I drafted Miller, but I didn't expect an RB1 when I did. He has been lead dog in Miami. Unfortunately, Miami's running game just isn't that good. I haven't even been playing him since I've been fortunate enough to have better options, but the season is long, so there's hope that Miami will improve and that Miller will be the main beneficiary.
