DanTheMan_5
I would bet they cover. (JAX)
dougsul
Tough call, Jville could easily back door cover this one. With shorts and Blackmon they should be able to move the ball especially in garage time. It could be a little sloppy with Denver been down after last weeks big win. MikesVikes
I don't think Denver will have an answer to Chad Henne today.

loaf
Denver is treating this as they are Ohio State and they're playing Mayfield High School. Serves them right

Bobby Brown
Almost 200 yards passing for Chad Henne midway through the 3rd quarter. You got to stat wondering if you can write Denver into the SB with what appears to be a pretty horrendous passing defense.
loaf
and I sat the St. Louis Defense for the Broncos...smh
Bronco Billy
Great freaking effort by Jacksonville. They played a good game even though they were clearly outmanned. They showed a ton of heart playing the way they did. The Broncos? It looked like they were going through the motions and mailed this one in. They were completely disinterested for the vast majority of the game. It was interesting watching them get booed going to the locker room at half time. Pretty clear that the fans felt that when they pay hugh money for tickets that they expect the players to care about the game and work hard. The Broncos appear to be developing an unhealthy arrogance that I have a feeling may bite them in the ass down the road.
keggerz
In the injury updates for Woodyard and Ayers I referred to this as a week 6 preseason game...sounds like that's how it may have seemed on the Denver end.

Would love to see the Colts take it to them and show them a team with real spirit and determination and for Andrew Luck to show up Peyton Manning. Gopher
I didn't watch the entire game, but I caught probably 60-70% of it. It sure seemed like there were a lot of low/bad snaps (in shotgun formation) by Denver. They lost at least one (fumble in the red zone that Welker tried to recover, but couldn't), and it just seemed like there were several others that Peyton had to reach for (as though they were being snapped at his knee/ankle, rather than his hands). He seemed to be getting frustrated. I have to admit, though... On the play where JAC recovered the fumble, it was sort of comical watching Peyton just stand there, reaching out, as if his legs were stuck in cement. There was no way he was going to dive after that ball.
Gopher
As I alluded to in the thread about the point spread/total for this game, I felt that Jacksonville would score some points. What I didn't see coming was the general disinterest in which Denver seemed to be playing this game. Bad snaps, turnovers in the red zone, turnovers for JAC TD's, and just a bunch of mistakes in general. Probably just a result of who they were playing, and a lack of focus, but they had better fix that before they play the likes of IND, KC, and NE. As for their defense, they're giving up nearly 25 PPG (bottom 7 in the league). But, some of that is due to how much they're scoring themselves. Still, pass defense has to be a concern, along with the fumbles on offense. One thing to keep in mind is that they were missing a couple of defensive players... Ayers on the line, and Woodyard at MLB (and they're missing Von Miller, obviously, as well). The game at Indy should be a good test... Road game, lots of distractions (particularly for Peyton), and an opponent that continues to surprise and play well. Looks like the spread for that game is only Denver -6.
