DaFreak
And with Briggs out 4-6 weeks its going to take a miracle for the beloved to make the playoffs.
Wolverines Fan
From rotoworld: Jay Cutler has been diagnosed with a torn groin, and will be sidelined a minimum of four weeks. Another year, another Cutler/Bears season torpedoed by injury. The good news is, the Bears are headed into their bye week, but Cutler will still be sidelined through at least Week 11, and likely longer. It thrusts journeyman Josh McCown into a starting role, and clouds the fantasy value of every Bears skill player. Brandon Marshall and Matt Forte should remain elite weekly plays, but things are not so certain for Alshon Jeffery and Martellus Bennett in an offense that could very well tank. It's a particularly poor timed injury for Cutler, who is headed for free agency at season's end. Despite his success against Washington's "defense" on Sunday, McCown is a bottom-barrel QB2 until further notice. gilthorp
Just in time for GB and DET. Tough loss. It frees up some hours on Sunday for me!
wpayers
Josh McCown is not very good. In situations like this I am struck by the significant drop-off from a team's QB1 to the back-up. Seems a fair number of teams are in that boat. The Bears are sunk.

Not the Vikings though. It's a pretty level slope from our best to our worst.
darin3
There's no way he's back in 4 weeks. Not the best injury for a QB to have. Bears'll be lucky to get him back this season.

I bet you long for the days of Joe Kapp/Gary Cuozzo/Bob Lee.
SeductiveNun
Kapp could put on a uniform this evening, step in, and still show more toughness, ability, and determination than what we have now.
