And I screwed myself up last week by making a last minute change and played KC D instead of Bears D, which I had actually submitted, then changed my my mind about 10 minutes before kickoff. A 10 point swing. Edit.... I am 5 -2, but we don't play H2H except for bragging rights and side bets. Out of all those leagues, there is only one 7-0 team -- I think that with all the injuries and underperformers this year, you would have to be fantastically lucky to be 7-0 right now. His first 5 picks in the draft (he had pick 10/10): - M Forte - L McCoy - P Manning - A Brown - V Jackson He also has T Williams, A Jeffery, D Woodhead, L Bell, J Thomas (late round flier), and he picked up KC's D off waivers early on.. I figured they only scored about 12 points only to wake up and find out they scored 32 points for me. Riding Aaron Rodgers, J. Charles and D. Jackson heavily. I still have all four drafted RBs and four drafted WRs on my roster. Oh and MFL said I had a rotten draft. stevegrab Posted October 24, 2013 Share Posted October 24, 2013 One guy is in our league, funny thing is second place in his division is 5-2, and is leading the league in scoring (7-0 avg=96.5, 5-2 is 110). The 7-0 has gotten a little lucky, has the fewest points scored against him, averaging under 75 per week, while the league average is about 88 points. His key players are QB Luck (Wilson) RB Forte, Morris (Moreno) WR Nicks, Wayne, Amendola (SJohnson, Cooper, Cotchery) - loss of Wayne will hurt TE Thomas K Gould D - Titans (Jets) - just dropped Bears and I believe they were his regular starters We also have 2 6-1 teams. We can only start 1 QB, but he was looking for some immediate trade bait. 4 or 5 years ago, in this same league, someone did the EXACT same thing with the #10 pick. Drafted Brady/P Manning with the 10th and 11th pick. Traded away Manning for a stud RB and rode Brady's record setting season all the way to the championship.. EDIT: I take that back. He traded away Manning for R Moss. That's the year Brady broke the single season TD record, and Moss had like 27 of those TD's. His team was dominant.. I think he only lost 1 game. It was a brand new league and to start off the commish wanted everyone to first come first serve pick a real NFL team and keep 3 players from that team. It is a 12 team league and I was 2nd in and picked Denver. Here's my team: QB: Peyton Manning, Andy Dalton RB: LeSean McCoy, Knowshon Moreno, Zac Stacy, Bryce Brown WR: Demaryious Thomas, Larry Fitzgerald, Cecil Shorts, Terrance Williams, Julian Edelman TE: Vernon Davis, Jermichael Finley Def: Ravens, Saints K: Dan Bailey I started my team with Manning, Montee Ball, and D. The 9th guy has been here for 5 years now, and every year it's like pulling teeth to find a 10th. We'd love for this to be a 12 team league, but can never find enough people.
