tony2345
What are your thought on his value rest of the season in PPR? Easy schedule, but do you think Mathews resurgence hurts his value? is he a must-start?
tazinib1
He is what Darren Sproles wishes he could be. In deeper PPR leagues, he's a must start, without a doubt.

You think he's that much better than Sproles? I know he's scored more so far (in my league anyway, all of 10 points in 7 games 63 vs 53) but in an ROS ranking I looked at Sproles is about 10 spots higher Or is this a Chargers homer spin? millworkguy
in my ppr league he is the #9 rb with 112 points vs sproles at #14, 92 points and this weeks game in hand. He is a must start.

Woodhead, without a doubt, is the most under-rated RB in FF. Charger spin? Nah...I just know he will get his touches and targets each week. Better receiver, better blocker, better route runner and he is just as fast out of the backfield. What more do you want?

So wait, he's better than Sproles, but he's only a must-start in "deeper PPR leagues"? Your computer should have a breathalyzer lock. Scorcher
I have been using him over Rice in a PPR league, no regrets.
tony2345
I just traded sjax for him in ppr. Rest of my team is really good and I wanted someone with a high floor. I'm happy with him as my rb2 since I lost Doug.

koralkillers
Last season Woodhead was the #24 ranked RB in standard leagues..amazing considering the limited touches he had..very underated player..

I realize that I have to do this so here we go (for Darin :smoooch:) Start him in all formats and if you don't have him in a limited PPR, then you're a dumb ass
kingsofromance
After week 1 I dropped him. I still can't believe how dumb I was for doing that.
darin3
I was so wrong about dude. I thought there'd be no way they could figure out how use him the same way the Pats did.
WildTurkey
I think a reason he is so undervalued is a subliminal perception that comes with his look. He looks like me when I was in 11th grade playing hackey sack outside the Popeye's chicken, not an NFL running back with great quickness, good hands and undeniable toughness. But he has all those things. I had to get over "the doubt" before I rostered him, and even moreso when I started him over Chris Johnson and CJ Spiller. Really? Woodhead (the name doesn't help things) over those studs? Yes. All that said, I'm not starting him this week. <crickets> Edited October 27, 2013 by WildTurkey

That's exactly what I thought after week 1. Then Ronnie Brown was getting more touches than him week one and i was like "ok this is a waste, they have no idea what they have". Man I was wrong. millworkguy
i preached him and traded back up in the 11th to get him in ppr formats, brown had 50 rec last year and i didn't trust matthews to stay as healthy as he has been. Just sorry i didn't trust him near my line-up till after week
