historymike
Billick was not very sharp today. He made a number of mistakes in player names, twice calling Dez Bryant by the name "Dez White," and some of his commentary was stupid. Billick early in the game said that the QBs needed to "take some shots downfield to open up the lanes and the running games," and on the next play Megatron caught a short pass from Stafford that he turned into an 87-yard play with YAC. Billick muscles his way back on the air to try to claim that he was somehow prescient in predicting the big play. Uh, no, Billick: this was a slant route where Stafford hit Johnson about 9 yards off the line of scrimmage. Idiot. Uh, no, Billick: this was a slant route where Stafford hit Johnson about 9 yards off the line of scrimmage. Idiot. he also started to basically claim that the game was over when the cowboys went up by 6 saying that they'd be up 2 games over the rest of the division with the help they got from the giants today and how the post game locker room scene with the media would be rough for the lions because of all the yards gained without earning the win. and then moments later, he ate all those words.
