BA Baracus
Stackin' dough like Henry Muto, I be all about the money yo Collectin' fees in so many leagues, makin' bank like it ain't funny yo... Herm Edwards always said you gotta play to win the game, But me I'm just more interested in fortune, girls and fame... The trophy don't mean nothing if it don't come with big fat stacks, So go ahead and hold my money while I take yours and mine all back.. :dropsmic: Dope
historymike
Bragging rights trump the cash, though admittedly the cash rises in relative importance as the stakes get higher.

flemingd
My first year in our local, we were a bunch of guys fresh out of college or just getting going in the work place, so money mattered. We played the first season for $5 entry fee, winner take all, just to have something to talk about. A week after winning, the guy took the money to a trophy shop, slapped it on the counter, and said "gimmie the biggest thing I can get for this". Ever since, there's no entry fee and no payout. ajh2
Sorry, Onbrake. You got to pay your taxes on your winnings how ever small they are. Since Fantasy Sports are considered gambling by the IRS, you gotta pay up. However, expenses are deductible.

The Next Generation
Both In my main league we award top prize for total pts, 2nd for SB champ,3rd for 2nd in pts, 4th for SB runner-up Total pts = Sense of accomplishment for a year's worth of drafting/moves, etc. This is the best player in the league for that year SB Champ = Guy who's team got hot at the right time, get's name on trophy I shoot for total pts as it positions you for the best chance to win both, as they have separate appeal. Papa Deuce
Lol, I bet less than 5% of all winnings get reported if they aren't in one of those weekly or daily leagues.
