archiebonker
Just wonder what you guys thought of Fozzy Whittaker and do you think he'll take over the Browns Running game soon?
loaf
haven't heard anything either way. Looks like a full blown committee approach relegating them all unstartable except in the deepest of leagues
DMD
He only had five NFL carries in his life and zero last week. Why would he be taking over the backfield? He was only on the field for eight plays last week. I agree - it is a committee dividing up a very small pie.

irish
Well, I can see McGahee being phased out and Silent G and Fozzy splitting the backfield duties.
darin3
Well, I can see McGahee being phased out and Silent G and Fozzy splitting the backfield duties. How so? Neither one is, nor has ever been, a between-the-tackles runner. Both are more gadget guys that catch the ball out of the backfield. Put it this way, Whitaker is everything Ogbannaya is, just with more big play potential. Silent G is a solid COP guy that can catch the ball out of the backfield but by no means is he (or Fozzy) about to become this team's bellcow. McGahee is put together with duct tape but he'll still get 10-15 carries a week when the offense dictates it. Fozzy's probably shown enough to get the next biggest share, however.

McGahee has done nothing to show he should continue to get carries, so even if the other guys aren't "between the tackle runners" maybe they just run less, throw more screens/short passes and therefore, give more time to Fozzy and Silent G.
