From what people here in Dallas have been saying. He's a problem in the locker room, never got along with management, training staff, team doctors. He was just a huge disappointment for how much money we had given him. From what I've heard, the Cowboys plan to file a lawsuit to try and get money back from him. The guy and his agent are very misleading and opinionated, probably the main reason why he got hurt again this year in training camp. If the cowboys thought this Dill Josh Gordon would suit up this season and play, why cut him? Even if he is all the things stated above, that's a lot of money to throw out the door.

Wouldn't expect anything less from a disgruntled Boys fan.

As a Bear fan, shoot... we can't do much worse. 1 year deal... we'll see if he pans out. If not, see ya chief!

Ratliff would rather sit on the sidelines and collect a check, all while complaining and blaming others. Maybe now he will feel like he has something to prove. He "had" a lot of talent, we just didn't get to see it. My guess is he will come in and be serviceable, then expect a big contract.

Ratliff did have tremendous talent. He was a undersized NT that should of been playing DE. He took a huge beating while he was a Cowboy. I really do like the guy as a player, but he is a headcase. Ask any player or sports journalist in Dallas what player they would never F*** with, Ratliff is by far the scariest dude.

As for Darin3, I thought it was funny because the bears ain't nothing special this year either! Do you know how much his one year deal is worth by any chance?

God you Cowboy fans can get a little huffy. The guy has problems, no kidding. If you took the time to read/digest/respond to the latter half of my post, you'd get it. It's a one year deal. If the guy doesn't shape up, he gets shipped out. The Bears are just as frustrating as the Cowboyds are. We need help at DL... if it doesn't work out, oh well. No reason for America's Fans to get their collective panties in a wad.

I agree, not sure why people won't answer your question. Independent of off the field issues, which was not the question, Ratliff was the Cowboys' most disruptive defensive lineman and a huge playmaker when on the field. All the pundits agree, that pressure up the middle is most disruptive and he provided that for the cowboys. When he left the field, the defense tremendously suffered. Considering the low risk signing, if he plays, he will be a huge addition for the Bears. If he had words with Jones, not sure why people are assuming the reason he was cut was an inability to play going forward. With that ego, he would have been cut no matter his talent or ability to play.
