LbNiners
was Sea just underestimating TB and he got heavy usage due to TB being up big early or can this guy repeat going forward?
stevegrab
Not sure if he can repeat, but if he's available and you need help at RB he's worth a shot. One guy in our league had him before last week, then dropped him before Sunday. Today he was the first player taken off waivers (Shonn Greene 2nd, James Starks 3rd)
MustOfBeenDrunk
I'm in a dynasty and tried to trade for him and the owner wouldn't budge , many have hi hopes for him , I wouldn't over pay but wouldn't mind having him on my roster
faceplant
Assuming Martin is done for the year from a fantasy perspective. I think James is at the back end of the top 25 RBs. He should be rostered. He should be starting given a good matchup or bye week scenario. For instance, I'm starting him this week with J.Charles on a bye and a Miami D that gives up yards and TDs. wpayers
As they say, Past Perfomance Is No Guarantee Of Future Results; however, over the very near term, leading up to many leagues' playoffs, I like James a lot for the following reasons: 1. TB has the 5th easiest schedule for RBs over the next 3 weeks. See the Huddle SOS RB. 2. There's no guarantee that DMartin won't reappear before season's end. Schiano has proven to be an odd duck and prematurely bringing back his most valuable asset wouldn't shock anyone here in Tampa. Just in the last week he's stated that Martin may require season ending surgery but then turned around and said he may be "in play" for week 10. Enjoy him while you can. Seahawks21
I don't think he's all that talented. I think he's just a guy. He looked very pedestrian against Carolina and Atlanta, hasn't scored a TD all season, and will have a tough time getting in the end zone. I don't think he is a guy that should make your lineup because you want him to be there. He makes your lineup because you have no other halfway decent options. LbNiners
from a fantasy standpoint I am somewhat desperate as a Trent owner, I think there's no hope for him anymore. James at the very least is "almost" an every down back and is getting receiving attempts too. I just need him this Mon as I have Brown/Stewart going forward, I hope one of them becomes a solid rb#2 as my RB1 is now Bell lol Edited November 6, 2013 by LbNiners
