Scorcher
I am not very well versed on the mechanics of a QB throwing the ball. I have read that Cutler is using his leg differently when he throws. What exactly does this say about his game and his status?
SecondString
I think it means he has resorted to using his leg to fend off the pass rushers that his OL can't block.
irish
He is positioning his leg differently throughout the progression of the throw so as to not re-injure or do any more damage to his groin.
Scorcher
He is positioning his leg differently throughout the progression of the throw so as to not re-injure or do any more damage to his groin. Will that affect his accuracy? I am thinking his mobility will be affected.
irish
Will that affect his accuracy? I am thinking his mobility will be affected. mobility most definitely will be affected and as part of the gameplan, they've probably told him to avoid running much altogether. also, if he's not setting he's feet properly to push off of, then it will have an impact on his accuracy and zip he gets on the ball. however, i don't think they'd put him out there if he couldn't deliver. Actually the Bears O line is very much improved. Now the D line is another story.
Pratts
Listening to Chicago sports radio this past week, I realized that I know more about Jay Cutler's groin than my own.
