giantsfan
I think it could go the other way. They lose at the Giants next Sunday, and they may just hold him out the rest of the season. At 5-5 they would be almost done if the Lions win in Pitt next weekend. I guess you could argue if they beat Minny at home the following week, and then beat Detroit on T-Giving they could be 1 game back, but if they lose to the Giants, and Detroit beats the Steelers, I think Rodgers could be shut down, or best case be back week 14 after T-Giving in Detroit. stevegrab
He has reiterated his retirement. Yes I knew that, it was just a joke (bad possibly) directed at those who wanted to speculate about it last week despte us all knowing it was just a very bad rumor. So what's Matt Flynn up to? He has a friggin busted collarbone. He'll be back when it's stable enough to withstand being tackled. Use your head a little

darin3
I didn't watch much of the game, but the numbers would indicate that Tolzien was actually somewhat good... no? But I guess that limp-noodle-armed Flynn knows the offense is surely good enough to provide some challenge to young Tolzien.

Personally I would like them to sign Flynn as a backup, play Tolzien as he looked good at times and I don't think he lost the game and hopefully back into the playoffs for Rodgers to take it from there.
piratesownninjas
Tolzien didn't get any reps all week in practice... Or all season long. Give him a week. The defense is a bigger problem than Wallace/Tolzien/Flynn.
ajh2
Rogers will be back when the doctors allow him to be.
SeductiveNun
Agree with the above. Tolzien looked more than capable of running the offense. The pick 6 at the goal line was a terrible play call followed up with poor execution, but other than that I definitely think the kid earned his shot to run the team until Rogers gets back. The pick 6 at the goal line was a terrible play call followed up with poor execution Actually, I saw it as a reasonable decision - Nelson was open on the fade - Tolzein just made a bad throw. You have to loft it, not fire it.
Slugs3511
On the packs radio show Rodgers said he s progressing well and could finally sleep through the night with no pain, what is the earliest he s back? Thanksgiving? Is that reasonable he said he could finally put his socks on without pain today ? That sounds harsh huh?
