Joebirds55
Watch mcgloin absolutely shred them lol I think w kubiak coming back could be a perfect storm of sorts for the texans and they go nuts tomorrow....I heard this commented on the radio but w the terrible lost season Houston has had, you gotta think this week or next the disappointment fades and the guys just play, and play well. I think there's validity to that.

What makes you think this? I'm a Texans homer, season ticket holder, tailgater and I wouldn't even pick them up, of course they will go off now that I said that. Sticking with my Panthers, been riding them a long, long time.
loaf
no game film...I've seen this go both ways where the QB shreds them and when he gets pummeled. Staying away from this
Joebirds55
What makes you think this? Apparently a lot of experts, as texans are ranked top 5 in a lot of rankings
FUBARED
Apparently a lot of experts, as texans are ranked top 5 in a lot of rankings Maybe those so-called experts should sit down and watch a Texans game the way we do. They might change their tune. We Texans fans hate seeing our D on the field because we know they can't stop anyone. Not sure how they are rated a top 5 D. Since I drafted them this year expecting huge games I'd watch them on Sunday and I've wanted to pull my hair out. Look at the giants last week tho. Ranking could be more raiders suck than texans are good type deal

Joebirds55
Seems almost like a 50/50 choice...ill prob decide on what d at 1245 and end up very angry, like last week...

Last time I checked, the Texans are the NFL's #1 ranked pass defense. Going against a rookie QB who has never played a snap, running for his life from JJ Watt? I love the Texan D this week as a plug and play.

loaf
like I said, you gameplan for Pryor and with no game film on McGloin, he could shred you or you could shred him. Better to not take the chance

Not one of those guys at all, we know our Texans. They very rarely get any turn overs, can't get to the QB, can't cover. I believe they are overrated. That's all and I'm not a "I told ya so" guy either. Just stating my opinion on my home team. And I agree that Case is hurting the defense. tazinib1
Well they have a fumble recovery and an INT with a sack and only 14pts allowed. In my league that's 17 points so far. Not a bad plug and play. Not trying to diminish your knowledge of your homer team at all...but I've seen alot of guys that like to come in screaming I told you so after the fact. That apparently is not you so my bad. But I'll take the outcome so far.

Our league is low scoring so Texans D has lost all the points given to them but with that punt return, sack and fumble recovery they have scored 8 so far. Making me look bad. Good for you for playing them. Good luck the rest of the weekend.

Wow, that is some high scoring for 2 turnovers and a sack, must be a huge bonus for the points allowed or more than 1-2 for sack/TO. In my league that would be 5 points (1 each TO/sack, 2 for 11-20 points allowed [max is 4 for a shutout]). While the Texans were expected to be a good NFL and fantasy defense they are near the bottom in fantasy scoring (29th in my league). While they may be doing well in some NFL categories (currently #1 in total yards and passing yards allowed) they have not been good in fantasy. 8 total turnovers, 23 sacks, 0 safeties, 1 TD, 276 pts, all of those are in the bottom 3rd of the league. Yet some sites are still ranking them very high (top 10) in ROS. I don't get it, I know this one site I'm looking at has them at 7th is a D/ST ranking, and our league only does D no special teams scoring for the unit, so maybe that is a part of the diference. But I'd rank them in the bottom 10, maybe around 25 based on their performance this year. I can see where looking at last weeks OAK game some might think it was a good matchup, but I have a heard time thinking there isn't a better D available on waviers (HOU D has been a FA since week 7 in mine). PS Not sure how they had an INT and fumble recovery while you were watching the game, maybe those were corrected later but I see 0 for both of those in the week 11 game vs OAK. (3 points in my league with 2 sacks and 1 point for under 30 points)
