BA Baracus
The 49ers are hurting badly for receiving targets. I would think that if he can play, he will and that if he plays, he will be involved heavily. An Achilles rupture is brutal to recover from though. Any SF homers have any insight from the local press? Will Crabtree be available to help secure a wildcard spot or make a run at the division if SEA stumbles? DMD
The 49ers have been pretty quiet about his status and when they believe he is coming back. I take that as a bad sign.

Biermeister or another Niner fan will be around soon enough. (We really need a :stir: Smiley, lol.) Biermeister or another Niner fan will be around soon enough. (We really need a :stir: Smiley, lol.) Well, 1st not a Niner fan this year , because I have none of their players on any of my teams that made the playoffs ! I also have no Niners on my dynasty leagues after trading away Crabtree ( per-season ) for another bust that I bought into Shiver Me Timbers gave up Amendola, Danny NEP WR; Year 2013 Draft Pick 3.03 Must of been Drunk gave up Reece, Marcel OAK RB;Crabtree, Michael SFO WR; Year 2013 Draft Pick 2.
MustOfBeenDrunk
Basically just a player fan , not a team fan now that I'm so much into FF , teams I root for when it does not effect my $$ bets or fantasy out come though are # 1 Vikes # 2 Niners # 3 Eagles . especially when they play the DAL or NYG
Bier Meister
imo a 100% healthy crabtree could make an impact. otherwise, i just see another wr who cannot get open (gain separation) and sf continuing to be a one dimensional offense. as a fan i have a lot of dissappointment in watching what was once an effective one demisional offense that even used complex running schemes. gore has been less effective this year and when he has been productive on a few occations i have seen them stop calling his number. very frustrating. Good points. A healthy Crabtree gives them a first down making beast on third downs, extending a lot of drives, as well as a nice end zone target and someone to take some heat off Vernon Davis. Missing him is partly responsible for Kaep's regression this year, and someone mentioned he might have been battling an unpublicizerd foot injury, but I'm still not seeing the growth most expected in his second year of starting. I am also preplexed by the neglect in the running game. Maybe teams are stacking the box, the line has not played as well, they miss Walker, I'm just not sure, but I expected them to run like they did last year. You must of been listening to Steve Young on 810 a week ago If not he also said " you are what you are " and this year they are not (meaning the 49ers) Steve always calls it the way he sees it

I was mistaken. A 85% crabtree is making a difference. he does not have his typical speed and quickness, but enough to get open and help the team (helping boldin, davis, and the running game). i believe they trimmed the playbook to make things easier for kap. it is nice to see some improvement. he still has things to work on, but moving in the right direction.
