zekez
So I've been holding him on my roster all this time, and was leaning towards starting him tonight, but am having reservations. My question to all of you Roddy owners out there, if you are still holding him, are you playing him tonight? Seriously, if not now, when will we? I mean whats the point of even rostering him anymore if you're not playing him tonight?

Bedo
I have been rostering him all season but I will be starting Larry Fitzgerald as my flex this week over Roddy. i want to see him have a 60+ yard performance with a TD before I am comfortable. Last weeks performance was not good if you take the fluke TD out of his stats. If he has a decent game tonight I will consider using him based on match ups as my flex My other WR's are: VJAX Josh Gordon Larry Fitzgerald
zekez
The other consideration is that this is a lost season for the Falcons. Why would they keep playing him after this week, esp if he's not 100%? this week I can see because its against the Saints, I'm thinking this could be his last hurrah this year. FWIW - I am starting Hilton and Shorts (or perhaps Allen) over Roddy.
buddahj
Due to injuries/bye week issues, I'll be starting him tonight.
Geo33
Can't decide between him, Ryan Matthews or Sjax at flex..

If it was really career-threatening or he still wasn't healthy enough to suit up, that's different, but people need to understand that teams still have to play to win in lost seasons, for an abundance of reasons, not the least of which that the NFL is a business and everyone's jobs are on the line. I actually have a good feeling about Roddy for the first time this season, but I don't have much to back that up besides the Falcons having to air it out tonight. Scorcher
Due to injuries/bye week issues, I'll be starting him tonight. Doing the same for the same reasons. I am hoping it will be one of those situations where you play someone because you have no choice and they end up going off. So with you there. Did the same thing. Saying to myself, this is the game he breaks out. He's healthy, they need him and they're at home. Big game for Roddy White tonight. Yeah, and there goes their rookie showing him how it's done. I suck at this game. Edited November 22, 2013 by Cowboyz1

Suddenly there are so many mouths to feed. Ryan was doing his Brees impression by spreading it around. Douglas, Darius Who Dat Johnson, Gonzo, Jizz Rodgers, SJax and Roddy. Not a good equation for us Roddy owners. Luckily I fought him the urge to start him simply because I see Boykin as slightly better at WR3. I figure tonight they will have to keep up with the high powered saints and will be throwing a lot so Roddy should get his. Never again. He got me exactly one more point than I would have gotten if I started Roddy Piper
stevegrab
Is he playing? I didn't think he was until Nessler mentioned that he has only one catch. They were throwing to everybody else and I hadn't even noticed him on the field.

heehawks
I dropped him in one of my locals a while back for Riley Cooper and it changed my season for the better. Really tough to drop a proven player drafted fairly high, everybody tends to hold on too long hoping for a return to previously known status. In actuality, its just not going to happen. Same thing happened to Fitz last year. Roddy ain't gonna be back until he gets healthy and the offense plays better.

I hold onto their past performance and it clouds my thinking. Roddy is a perfect example. Amazingly, Ray Rice has joined that club as well. The NFL is a young (i.e. under 26ish) man's game. Foster, Rice, Roddy, MJD have seen better days. Gore is an exception.
