22-3 since 2001

Remember when you were excited about the Steelers 0-4 start and the Browns 3-2 start

Back to life, back to reality. :nono:

P.S. I doubt the Steelers make a playoff run, but, it's good to see them playing solid football again. That last AFC playoff spot is going to be taken by a sub-par team that will likely get sent packing early. Still, I'd love to see the Steelers snag it. One other note, Josh Gordon is one heck of a player. Imagine what he will do when they get a quality QB.

Now, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Hilarious how this guy resurfaces every once in a while to crow about something.

Browns got spanked by the Steelers, since when is that news or something to puff your chest about.

Yes I was enjoying the Steelers crapfest earlier in the season, what division rival doesn't enjoy seeing the other team suck (just look at the NFC east folks around here).

Kudos to you Mr. Hit-And-Run, you put me in my place. We'll see you around again in a few months when you have something else to celebrate (maybe Ben can bang another college chick in a bathroom and then squeeze out of the legal trouble).

Seriously, comparing your team to the Browns? This is the first thread I ever remember being made celebrating mediocrity.

Do you have Cowboyz on ignore ?

Actually, the Browns would be deserving of a thread celebrating mediocrity, and I would wholeheartedly support it. It's all a matter of persepctive of where you've come from, so Browns yes, Steelers, no. If they can only get their franchise QB in the draft this spring, I like where they are headed.

Yeah, I just have little trust in the Browns organization, new regime or not. We do have some talent, but some of these guys are already getting older and could be lost before we can build a contending team. (Thomas, Mack, Haden, Ward, Jackson)

Now back to this stevegrab guy, is he awesome or what ;)

Wow, no wonder this place is what it currently is. You can't even gloat and throw someone's comments back in their face in regards to a division win without having to watch them go into full on :crybaby: mode.

As for the Roethlisberger comments, ouch, man, you really got me. Ripping a guy that I've admitted many times that I can't stand.

By the way, I think you know why I don't post here often anymore. It's not really much of a secret. However, it's allowed people like you to become the 'regulars' around here.........what fun. :tweed:

Now, my team isn't in the same division as Cleveland, but I find it hard to hate on the browns. Not to be mean or anything, but they're always so mediocre that it's hard to really get a burning feeling of hate against them. Almost like the Jaguars, can't hate on them much.

I agree that if the Browns can get a franchise QB in the draft they could really turn it around. I'll be rooting for them (unless they play the chiefs) :)

Yes that is what is wrong with this place, not the mass exodus of a bunch of regulars, or people like you who mostly left but only come back to gloat.

And where exactly did I cry?

You know what, I work with several Steeler fans, I made the same comments to them the that I I did to you back in the first few weeks when the Steelers were winless and the Browns were suddenly looking competitive (I knew it wouldn't last). Guess how many of them came to gloat this morning? ZERO! My co-commish is a PIT fan, he came to talk about some league issues, and made no mention of the PIT-CLE game.

But you're right, I'm what's wrong with the Huddle Forums, I'm sure if I left they'd quickly return to their glory days.

Damn, now I feel bad. I SO wish I was like your Steelers fans at work. They sound so much more mature and, well, awesome. Thanks for ruining my day. :(

P.S. Trust me, you couldn't hang in the old days. Those guys actually liked to have fun. You are as fun as a pinata full of bees.

A thread like this is what gave this place personality back in the day. Now its met with peoples panties getting in a twist. Cowboys /Eagles /Giants/Skins- we used to go at it so hard and in the end almost all of us became friends. Now its like "How dare you gloat over a division win" Come on man. That is what jawing is all about

Apparently

Unfortunately, there isn't........not for football talk. The other fantasy football forum has way too many people there that it drowns everything out. We had the perfect situation going here. Unfortunately, I haven't found anything to replace it as far as football talk. :kicksrock:

I'm actually jealous of the Cowboys fans. At least they still get some football threads around here. They are nothing like they used to be, but, at least they have something.

Poor me.....

Memories

Light the corners of my mind

Misty watercolor memories

Of the way we were

Scattered pictures

Of the smiles we left behind

Smiles we gave to one another

For the way we were

Can it be that it was all so simple then

Or has time rewritten every line

If we had the chance to do it all again

Tell me - Would we? Could we?

Memories

May be beautiful and yet

What's too painful to remember

We simply choose to forget

So it's the laughter

We will remember

Whenever we remember

The way we were

So it's the laughter

We will remember

Whenever we remember

The way we were

I thought it was just standard practice. I remember when I came into a Cowboys thread to rip you pathetic losers :) BarrellsOfFun aka Stevegrab commented about how weak it was for me to show up when the Steelers were 0-4 and the rest of the division was 3-2. When the Steelers were winning yesterday, I remembered the comment and came here to gloat. Why wouldn't I ? That is what makes NFL rivalries (well, I don't know how much of a rivalry this one is anymore) fun.

However, it was quickly pointed out to me that what I was doing was wrong. The Steeler fans at Inatech, quickly showed how it is done. HappyFunGuy aka Stevegrab rubbed it in to those guys exactly the same as he did to me. You know what, those guys didn't even mention the Steelers-Browns game. Not once. Not even a hint of it. That my friends, is how you have fun.

" Stevegrab, you are a madman. When you stole that cow, and your friend tried to make it with the cow. I want to party with you, cowboy. If the two of us together, forget it."

Sweet Jesus. Then he quotes a freakin' Streisand song.

Isn't that grounds for immediate banishment?

Wait, that didn't make you cry ? Do you even have a soul ? Or more than one favorite team ?
