I used to live outside of Saint Paul on a sod farm when I was in grade school , I remember we had to tell the class what our plans where for the summer , I stood up and said we were going to Sioux Rapids ( In Iowa ) but it came out as I'm going to sock rabbits , another kid said are you gonna kick squirrels too ?

That explains a lot, you were forced to go to Iowa for summer vacation? I'd kick squirrels too, what else is there to do?

I'm not questioning you, my mom grew up in Iowa and as kids we visited the family farm there once a month, I kicked as many f'n squirrels i could find!!

Are you sure it wasn't Sauk Rapids (MN).... Sounds a lot more like "sock rabbits" than Sioux Rapids does, but then again, what do I know?

Zooty I had to google where you are from , knew it had something to do with Penn , but now know who you are

Pennsyltucky

Rural parts of Pennsylvania with large concentrations of country folk, noted for interest in Hunting, Country Music, NASCAR, trailer life, Wal-Mart and working at the plant. Often spotted wearing camouflage with full grown beards or unkept caveman appearance driving pickup trucks with gun racks. Note: PA has the largest Rural population of any state, not everyone who lives or is from these regions is a red neck, hick or country bumpkin and most who don't dislike the reference "Pennsyltuckey" and find it insulting.

The Film "Deliverance" well not that extreme all the time in Pennsyltucky

There is a city here in the Akron area named Barberton, often referred to as Barbertucky. So I just assumed his Pennyltucky was the same type of place.

Its the part of PA between Philly and Pittsburgh though the definition pretty much sums up Pittsburgh too.
