redred1234 Posted December 19, 2013 Share Posted December 19, 2013 I have heard and seen several things pertaining to Foles and the Eagles Starters being sat even if it is for a half this Sunday night against the Bears if Dallas loses to Washington. So I am absolutely freaking out. A couple of years ago I was in the same spot when Romo got banged up early and never came back into the game because the division title and playoff berth came down to the wk 17 match up. I have Rodgers as well but it is not looking good for him this week. The only other options on the waiver wire are Cousins, Tannehill and Fitzpatrick. (All 1pm games) If I don't play any of them I have only Foles (830pm) as my option. In your opinion what is my best option here? Thank you so much I'm freakingggggggggggg out. Unless something changes (and I hear definitive information indicating that Foles might NOT play all four quarters), I'm likely going to stick with him. As far as I understand, the Eagles do actually have something to play for, no? Maybe not in direct relation to Dallas (and the division), but in terms of whether they would be the 3rd or 4th seed. Not to mention, momentum is key in the NFL (all sports, actually), and sitting players has typically not worked out well for teams who have tried it. Maybe not in every case, but in several.
