Kirk Cousins in week 16... who are you benching for him?

The guy I'm playing in the finals just picked up Cousins to start over Brees.

I have the same decision...and am a lifelong - now long suffering - Redskins fan. Hard to pull the trigger on the move. Don't need any more reasons to hate on the home team.

I think that if you start Brees and Cousins actually outperforms him, it wont be by much and it shouldn't torment you all offseason.

However, if you bench Brees and he goes off, and it costs you the title, you might hurl yourself off of a bridge.

I almost hurled myself off a bridge last week. Brees was so bad, but won despite his poor performance.

Starting cousins over Romo.

+1

Grabbed him with my last bidding buck on Wed night and hes been locked into my lineup since. Should also note that Im a Garcon owner going against a beastly team so Im hoping that the combo TD potential gives me a bit of an edge

Cousins is starting in 63% of leagues this week according to MFL. Hard to believe since it is week 16 and so many teams were eliminated after week 14. It means a lot of good teams who made the playoffs didn't draft "stud" QB's early. I'm benching Carson Palmer and Mike Glennon for him. Not a difficult decision.

Fixed

I agree. However, I'd want to throw myself over the bridge either way if I lost. A loss is a loss.

Given the weather scenario in Washington right now, is anyone reversing their decision to start Cousins?

it will be raining with possible thunderstorms.....but wind is not predicted to get above 10mph. Clearly less than ideal...but wind does not appear to be a determining factor in DC.

I've decided to now go with Cutler over Cousins and Romo due to weather concerns

IMO, Cutler should've been started over Cousins and Romo to begin with. I have flip-flopped between Cousins and Romo all week and currently have Cousins in. Rain/T-storms, even though not ideal, are not nearly as difficult to play in compared to high winds.

I have Cousins going in 2 championships but only have Romo otherwise in the same game. Raining now in DC and supposed to be raining during game. I don't have a choice outside that game unfortunately but it is a concern for me. Hard rain expected.

temperature is very nice at 70 and wind not that bad. Just lotta rain.

I had someone ask me if they should play Cousins over Brees. Cousins has a MUCH better matchup, but if I'm a Brees owner I have to live and die with him at QB.http://www.thehuddle.com/2013/articles/sg-0718-dissecting-quarterback-value-in-fantasy-football.php' rel="external nofollow">

Not to mention, your QBs points likely won't matter

anyway.

even in my 2qb heavy league the team with the highest scoring QB wins 50% of the time...exactly fifty percent....

I am rolling with Brees and Cousins and benching Fitz along with Wilson....Cousins was the no brainer but starting Brees over who I have reserved was difficult...or is difficult since I have an hour and a half to make a grave mistake....or big move? :brow::bash:
