dope man
In the "me first" mentality that we now have in professional sports, this is certainly a honorable gesture!

Lloyd Dobler
A few years ago a friend of mine's father shows up to play in a local golf tournament that he and a friend of his had signed up for. His friend ends up being a no-show because he's sick, and guess who my friends father gets partnered with? That's right, John Kitna. He said that Kitna was the most laid back, nicest guy he had ever met. Kitna buys him a sandwich and a drink at the turn, and thanks him for playing with him when they are done. Kitna teaches math and coaches the football team at his HS alma-mater in these parts, and by all accounts is upstanding and classy. Definitely one of the good guys that you are proud to root for regardless of the team.

SNOWBOUND33
Very classy and selfless. I'm not sure how big the school is but I hope they put it to good use.
