flemingd
/shakes fist at BA for sensationalizing! "Breer reports through Twitter that "Judge Brody is basically asking for a special master to look at actuarial data, and make sure the economics are in order. Not a hard 'no'." BA Baracus
C'mon...it's a slow news day round here.
flemingd
Fair enough. I just expected it to be some bombshell when all it is is due diligence (that she apparently doesn't trust both sides' lawyers to have done).
stevegrab
My local paper showed the same AP story, but with this headline "Judge nixes preliminary approval of $765 million NFL case" Even the one BA posted the link for says "on hold" not denied. Maybe adjusting the title is in order.

BA Baracus
When I originally posted it said "denied". Revisionist media at work...
stevegrab
When I originally posted it said "denied". Revisionist media at work... Yep, their link to the article (which they don't change) does say "denied". Revisionist media is needed because they sensationalize the story in their headlines to start with.
