NFL announces winning bid for Thursday Night Football

I got excited about this. Then the commercials said it would be on CBS Sports Network, so I still won't be able to watch. :)

Not sure what commercial you saw, but that is wrong. The NFL games are NOT on CBS cable Sports Network. The games will be broadcast on regular CBS (over the air AKA antenna TV) for the first half of the season (with simulcast on NFL Network) then on NFL Network only the second half of the season (some places saying the Saturday games at the end of the season or split or both on CBS).

Hmm. I could have sworn the commercial I saw (several times) said it was on CBSSN, but I'm fine with being wrong on this one :)

Amen...I am just thankful that the NFL hasn't gone the way of Pay-Preview. I will :crybaby:when and if that ever happens.

 

 

I don't think they would go there. The PPV model is already kind of close to be outdated.
