Recommended Posts

The NFL is no longer allowing the players to "dunk" the ball over the goal posts after a touchdown under the rule of using "no props". Plus Jimmy Graham bent a goal post last year so that was a problem.

Big deal, so players cannot dunk I'm fine with that. I'm sure the No Fun League crowd will chime in and tell us how Goodell is ruining the game.

I've tried to make this point here and elsewhere a million times, Goodell is a figure head, like the Queen of England. He doesn't make major decisions, the owners do. Also the owners have the authority to remove him and put in another commissioner. They have utlimate authority, not Goodell.

 

So if you want to blame somebody, blame the NFL owners.
