BA Baracus
The way I read it, the punishment is based on him "willfully" damaging the association. I expect a good frothy court battle where his attorney argues that the surreptitiously recorded conversation does not qualify as a willful act. File this whole thing under "IDGAF about the lazy NBA" with cross reference to "Why are people so utterly shocked that an 80 year old is racist???" I heard yesterday morning that if it went to court, it would actually end up in an arbitrators hands. Otherwise I agree with you on WGAF, but there's not much else going on. stevegrab
but there's not much else going on. Blame it on the NFL draft being moved back 2 weeks, otherwise the sports world would be talking about that, grading the drafts and so on. There's a big difference between "willfully" and "intentionally". In 2014, in this political climate, in this country, he's trucked. Totally trucked. He's a rich white man making racist comments. It's over.
