CML207
So I am doing my 1st IDP league this year, which already had me a bit confused on draft strategy...to further my confusion, the league I am has other slots Im not used to. I typically play in a QB,RB,RB,WR,WR,TE,Flex,D/ST,K league. This league has: QB RB RB/WR WR WR/TE WR/TE Flex OP DP DP DP DP DP K 6 bench spots and 2 IR spots So no tight end required, a 2nd QB could be in play with the OP slot, and no requirements on which positions are needed on the defensive side as long as I start 5 defensive players. So my questions are as follows: - Do I even worry about a TE? Obviously if I can nab one of the top 4, Ill reach, but if I dont get an elite tight end...do I just load up on WRs? - Should that OP spot pretty much always be a 2nd QB? Seems like the obvious choice. - How late into the draft do you typically start picking up defensive players? - With no requirement on which position they play, should I load up on just LBs, or should I look elsewhere? keggerz
You scoring is BIG PLAY (sacks are worth 5x more than solo tackles). I'd target elite pass rushing DEs and rush OLBs.
davesworld23
I'd punt TEs unless they fall. Graham is as good as a WR 1 so he is an exception. I'd aim for WRs early and often.... I'd grab 3 WR & a QB in the 1st 4 rounds even if I have atop 5 pick.... Round 5 I'd grab a Top DL (maybe Quinn or Watt) and then pick off another QB and whatever RBs you can find for a few rounds. RB is kind of deep. LBs are more consistent point getters so I'd look to grab those and fill out my bench
