Draft strategy top 200 vs Projected player rankings?

My usual draft plan is to take a top 200 players list from this site and then adjust it slightly based off my feelings and go off that. However, this year I was thinking about creating a list of the top players to draft based on projected points this year. I had assumed that the top 200 players list had already done this but if I where to draft based on projected points Manning would be the top pick. If I draft based on the top 200 Mccoy is the top pick. Any suggestions?

The points don't matter.... it's the difference in what a player will score within his position.

Manning may be projected to score the most points, but the problem is in general, QBs will score the most points, and the difference between Manning and the 8th-10th best QB is not that great when compared to the projected points of the top RBs and the 14th-20th RBs. The drop off at RB is much steeper than that at QB, which is why RBs generally are ranked much higher in overall lists.
