Jsara226
I have a pretty good lineup right now and have garçon as my second WR. I also have forte and bell in my starting lineup and was looking to add CJ as my solid flex player. I have a buddy that wants alshon jeffery from me in exchange for CJ and welker. (I would put welker in Jeffery's spot in my starting lineup). Does this look like a smart trade on my part?
Big Country
Who is in as your flex now? I would think that unless it is a very weak player, this is a pretty bad trade for you as you drop from Jeffery to Welker in your WR spot, so it better be someone way worse than CJ to justify this. Zooty
I'd rather have Jeffrey than Welker and CJ doesn't make up the gap for me. Depending on your your roster and line-up requirements
ffbrookie
I would avoid this like the plague.
Jsara226
As of right now, my lineup is..(had 5th pick of the draft mind you) Matthew stafford Matt forte Levon bell Alshon jeffery Pierre garçon Vernon Davis Steven Ridley (flex) Chiefs defense Adam Vin. I'm looking for the best player to possible replace Ridley.
Big Country
This trade does not accomplish your goal of improving on Ridley at flex. It gets you someone similar to Ridley with a little more upside in CJ but you take a massive hit at WR.
Jsara226
I just feel like I'm missing something from my team to make it a great team rather than being a good one
Zooty
I just feel like I'm missing something from my team to make it a great team rather than being a good one I don't think you can do that in pre-season.....
PatriotBuzz
If you are patient you may find that CJ is no better than Ridley... I would argue that Ridley will have more value with a better NE D this year. They will get off the field more on 3rd down thus more offensive opportunities. More leads and clocking killing
