#9 Pick Advice

Recommended Posts

Basically I'm picking 9th in a re-draft standard scoring league (no PPR). I have a good plan ready but my worst case scenario is the first 8 guys off the board being:

McCoy, Charles, AP, Forte, Lacy, Lynch, Megatron, Foster.

Who would you take if those 8 go? Graham? Bell? Peyton? Ball? Really dont like Murray so he's out.

PS It's a 12 teamer so i'd be on the clock again at #16.

If those 8 go exactly as you say they do before you, you have to pick Jimmy Graham. I don't like picking QB's so early when there are guys like Luck or Stafford that are rock-solid starters in Round 4-5. Ball is still an unproven commodity, even though he looks good on paper at the moment.

Graham is a machine, and will give you an edge with every TE matchup. Mid to late first round is his usual ADP, so it would not be a reach at all. Good luck!

I like Ball, but man...he was supposed to be the man last year and moreno took over, and here we are again with Ball but Moreno gone...its still just a shaky number 1 pick if you ask me. I just don't feel its worth the gamble to rest your big point getter on Balls shoulders.

Its graham or Brees/Manning/Rodgers if you ask me. Its a weekly game, so that guaranteed 25-40 by the elite QBs is always a nice advantage.
