rajncajn
Post yours Here's my ongoing local. 12 team PPR with keepers. My team is Got Crabbs http://football4.myf...ns?L=43531&O=17 Gio & Crabtree were my keepers. My biggest mistake was passing on Demarco Murray or Doug Martin for Brees. Especially since I could have had Newton much later. 1.11 Green, A.J. buddahj
Is this the league that I helped you draft the greatest injury team of all time? Edited August 20, 2014 by buddahj

darin3
Meh, keeping Brees at 2.02 isn't that big of a sting considering the value you get with Bernard in the 4th and holy smokes Crabtree in the 16th. What pick would you have sacrificed to keep Murray? That would be the only consideration, IMO... not Martin. That's the makings of a pretty nice team if a couple rookies pan out and a couple younger guys step up.

I guess that's probably the case. Good team. Two players total from the entire roster. The number to the left is the round cost in this year's draft. If I kept Crabtree & Pitta it would have been a 15th & 16th. Gio cost me a 4th (took him in the 5th last year) & Crabtree cost me a 16th as a FA pickup (remember he was injured at the start of last year). rajncajn
Final roster. Can't say I'm ecstatic about this team. My depth at RB is a glaring detriment and will take quite a bit of luck to get me on track. I have a feeling I will be burning up the waiver wire early this year. rajncajn
Well Huddlers, meet your 2014 AFFL Championship Team! Brees, Drew NOS QB Bernard, Giovani CIN RB Mason, Tre STL RB ® Miller, Lamar MIA RB Murray, Latavius OAK RB Beckham, Odell NYG WR ® Crabtree, Michael SFO WR Douglas, Harry ATL WR (P) Gordon, Josh CLE WR Landry, Jarvis MIA WR ® Moncrief, Donte IND WR ® Kelce, Travis KCC TE Rivera, Mychal OAK TE Tucker, Justin BAL PK Panthers, Carolina CAR Def Rams, St. Louis STL Def The starters are shown in bold. Let me tell you, this was one of the rockiest trips to a championship I've ever had. After starting the season like gang-busters, the injuries starting taking a toll and I dropped 5 out of 6. I feared my season was done, but then I started piecing together a couple more wins just barely enough for the division lead thanks largely in part to OBJ, but I'll also give credit where it's due and say that Lamar Miller & Jarvis Landry were the two that I could really count on to keep me afloat. For their ADP, they were big steals. Big thanks to all of you & The Huddle for all the help you've given throughout the season. Grits and Shins
1.08 - Antonio Brown (declared worst pick in the entire draft by MFL) 2.05 - Pierre Garcon 3.08 - Giovani Bernard 4.05 - Michael Crabtree 5.08 - Greg Olsen 6.05 - Dennis Pita 7.08 - Matt Ryan 8.05 - Carolina 9.08 - Stevan Ridley 10.05 - Devonta Freeman 11.08 - Jeremy Hill 12.05 - Ryan Tannehill 13.08 - Markus Wheaton 14.05 - DeAngelo Williams 15.08 - Brandon McManus 16.05 - Odell Beckham I can't believe I won it all with my 2nd, 4th, 6th, 9th, 10th, 13th and 14th picks sucking so hard. If I could go back and change only -ONE- of my picks it would be the Garcon pick at 2.05. At that spot I could have had Maclin, Murray, LBell. I struggled all season trying to find that 3rd WR spot ... I drafted a 2nd strong TE (Pita) to with the thoughts of flexing him into that spot as needed. My biggest disappointments were Garcon and Crabtree. Got off to a strong 3-0 start Lost 1 Won the next 2 Lost 2 in a row <-- Here is where the next in division caught up to me Won 3 in a row Lost 1 <-- Here is where I dropped to 2nd in my division Won last 3 in a row At 7-4 I was 2nd in my division with losses to the other 2 teams in the running for the 2 wildcards. At 8-4 I I defeated the other guy in my division for the 2nd time and locked up a wildcard. The only way to lose the division was for him to win week 13 while I lost week 13. Final roster, championship lineup bolded QB: Matt Ryan / Eli Manning RB: Jeremy Hill / Tre Mason / Giovani Bernard / Alfred Blue / Charles Simms WR: Antonio Brown / Odell Beckham / Pierre Garcon / Michael Crabtree / Chis Hogan TE: Greg Olsen PK: Cody Parkey DF: CAR / SDC It was unusual that I already had the superbowl victory with one player left to go Monday night (JHill). sksmith
What is meant with the term 'local'? Is it leagues with friends/family/coworkers or something different?
rajncajn
What is meant with the term 'local'? Is it leagues with friends/family/coworkers or something different? Correct. Many of us here also play in online and/or BoTH (Born of The Huddle) leagues if which I sucked in this year.
