So someone please tell me, how is it that you can flip the middle finger at the opposing bench, be seen by everyone doing so and get fined less than a guy who scores and dunks the football over the goal post?

Flipping the finger is usually done without a lot of thought. I believe Graham said he intended to dunk the football and a message was being sent.

 

 

I hear ya but the two actions are on 2 different levels. There shouldn't even be a rule against dunking on the goal posts. You can't say that for not flipping the bird to your opponent and everyone else who got to see it.

 

I have 3 kids, if they saw both things happen, regardless of the rules, do you weigh them evenly, or in this case what Graham did as more offensive than what Johnny Jerk Finger did?
