I just reread Dorey's article on budgeting as well as the current AAV article, and here's my real question: The AAV article uses myfantasyleague.com as its basis, but I'll be drafting from a different site with different AAV's prepopulated. What this does is present a risk that the perceived values are higher for the top end players. So how much do you weigh the AAV of the specific site(s) that you draft from when setting your own budgets? I've been burned before by this, drafting a team of really good players but no huge different makers since they were all valued higher AAV-wise on the drafting site than I had on my own sheet based on my own research.
