Trade Advice - Calvin and Pierce For Murray and Torrey

I have Demarco Murray, Arian Foster, Ben Tate & Chris Johnson as RB's

Torrey Smith, Julian Edelman, Jeremy Maclin & Ruben Randle as WR's

 

I am in a 12 team Non PPR

 

Please advice on the following trade proposal that i received

 

Calvin Johnson & Bernard Pierce

FOR

Demarco Murray & Torrey Smith

I'm obviously a huge Calvin fan, but I am personally inclined to say no to this one. Pierce doesn't have too much value beyond weeks 1 and 2, unless he could win the starting job which I don't think he will, and he won't have much value to you at any point this season, as he'd be your 4th best RB. Torrey Smith is your top receiver which is a little weak of a WR1, but with your very good set of RB's you should be fine. Murray is your RB1, and poised for a very big year in my opinion. I think a lineup of Murray, Foster, Smith and Edelman, with Tate at FLEX is a better lineup than Foster, Tate, Johnson, Edelman, with Johnson/Maclin at FLEX. You also have a deeper bench if you decline the trade which is very important/helpful.
