Papa Deuce Posted September 16, 2014 Share Posted September 16, 2014 I have Harvin. That admittedly bad "TD" was worth 12 points in my league. I am in first place in a points only league. Two people were on the league boards really complaining about it, but especially the guy in 2nd place, who is a relatively new player, 3 years I think. They sound like a bunch of babies. So, while it is not my fault that that TD counted, though it should not, I made the following offer, more like a bet, I guess: 1. If I win by less than 12 points at the end of the year ( if I actually win the league ) I will split the pot with the 2nd place finisher. But here is where the bet came up..... ( they had to be a complainer ) 2. If I win the league by more than 12 points and you complained and accept the bet, you give me $50. Crickets...... neither of the whiners responded. Did they say you shouldn't win the championship and money if you win by 12 points or less. Whether its a bad call by a ref, or a player pulled at the GL so somebody else gets the TD, or a stats correction, or you played the highest scoring team several weeks when you scored second highest. Its not like you tried to cheat or created the situation where your player got a TD on a bad call. I can understand them being upset, but asking for your league to somehow manipulate the score so you don't get the points is dumb.
