Cutler paid to throw game

Rodgers has been pretty amazing in case you have not been watching......typical though for someone to put the entire loss on the qb.....

Have you seen the three interceptions? I don't completely blame him, but it looks like he was throwing a game. Do well and then throw three bad passes that 2 are intercepted and 1 that should have been called one. I blame this on the bears d, but that doesn't mean Cutler switched from good to awful.

The first INT was all on Cutler. It was a bad read and throw and a good play by the defender jumping the route and taking a chance. The second INT was all on Brandon Marshall. He was supposed to run a 15yd curl and instead turned it into a go-route. It's okay to do that, but he has to signal the QB he is doing that (most WR's throw a hand up during their dig before taking off). It was a timing pattern, so Cutler was throwing to a spot.

The Bears once again crapped the bed against the Pack. This wasn't even close to being all on Cutler, but he played his part.

He didn't have terrible games against the Chargers. He had good and bad games. His record against them was only 2-4, but he did complete over 61% of his passes, threw for an average of 255 yards, and threw 9 TD's to 7INT's. Those numbers are probably on par with his career average.

Probably should have said he had terrible games when it mattered most (elimination games/critical division games). Plus 2-4 (should be 1-5 with the Hochuli non-fumble, hard as that is to admit), 61%, 255 and 9/7 TD/INT isn't anything to write home about. Cutler has all the talent in the world, his arm strength is up there with the best of em, he can run when needed, obviously intelligent, but he just lays down stinkers when you need him the most.

It's just that sometimes Bad Cutler shows up and stinks up the place for a half. You can tell Bad Cutler by his body language. As soon as you see it, you know he's done for that game. It's kind of like when Eli Manning gets the Eli Manning Face, but not quite as obvious.

I was thinking Romo/Cutler have a lot in common? Big arms and bad choices? Both have all the promise in the world but both seem to crumble like old cake under pressure or make a pass to a spot where most cant but forget about the defender in the way? They really have a lot in common.

"Cutler being Cutler" is a weak statement.

So far, in 2014, he has 8 turnovers to go with his 13 total TDs. He's turned it over 5 times in the last two games. Why is "Cutler being Cutler" a weak statement? Before this year, as a bear, he has had 104 total TDs to go with 92 turnovers.

He's a 31 years old veteran with an extensive resume. For all his talent, he makes a motherload of gaffes combined with his good plays.
