Taylorjt4
Unless Jamaal Charles goes off for about 3 td and 150 yds, I am going to drop to 0-4! My lineup: QB- Kaepernick, C Palmer RB's- Forte and Charles(my keepers this year), J Hill, S. Greene, K Davis WR's- Crabtree, C Patterson, A Jeffrey, D Hopkins, M Evans, M. Lee TE- Z Ertz, J Cameron K-M Crosby Def- Texans, Chargers I picked up Davis two weeks ago and missed out on Cousins because of it. No savior on the waiver wire of course, my team has been competitive despite injuries, but obviously falling short each week. Not giving up but I dont think I want to blow up the team either as I think it still has potential... Any advice?
maperson
Stick with your team.. you cant improve much at any position. Your team will start rolling soon
scaples
0-4 is definitely a tough start, but I've seen teams start bad like that and still make the playoffs. How big is your league and how many make it to the post season? Your team doesn't appear to be as bad as its 0-4 record.
Taylorjt4
12 team league and top 6 make the playoffs... 6th seed last year was 7-6 and year before was 6-7.. Its been frustrating to say the least...
scaples
We have the same setup in our 12 man league as well. a 6-7 team can make it in. so you pretty much just have to figure the worse you can go is 6-3 your last 9 matchups to have a shot. Thats definitely doable. You're not out of it yet!

pesosweetdog
Stick with your team. It's quite good for a 12 team league. Keep starting your studs. Other teams will have losing streaks too when your players are all rolling together.
Taylorjt4
I lost by 3 points!!!!!! If only Charles had scored on that last run of his...
Dolphin_Akie
Two years ago, guy in our league went 0-4 and then won the league. Managed ten straight wins to finish 10-4 and in the playoffs then battled through the semi and final. It's certainly not likely but it can happen. scaples
ugh...thats the worst when you come back from a big deficit only to lose close like that. You will have better days ahead!
Inv1ctus
Don't worry, you will start compiling wins in no time imo, I think your team is solid. FWIW I started the season 0-3, finally got a win in week 4 and I have the 3rd most points accumulated in the league, it's just bad matchups. This week two of them had a matchup with 55-53 points, and I lost previous weeks with 90 points. It usually turns around, just a matter of time. Taylorjt4
Sucks to lose that close, then you second guess lineup decisions.. I had Hopkins on my bench and I would have won if I played him over Crabtree or Patterson....
Croe
Sucks to lose like that but Charles made it close and looked good. Expect better things from him the coming weeks. If only forte would get a TD every once in a while. I think your team looks pretty solid, would play think about playing hopkins over patterson most weeks. He gets more looks and catches more balls, probably due to the consistency at QB. Until Patterson can cut a clear role in the offense I'd let him ride pine. Especially now with Bridgewater taking over, it looks like his time with the second team is paying off for Wright not patterson Edited September 30, 2014 by Croe
Taylorjt4
Yea, I think I am going to have to put Hopkins in over Patterson, I almost started him over Crabtree.
Broncoholic
I think C.Patt is going downhill. Teams will get wise to him and kick touchbacks every time to avoid his return. That is where I saw most of the points I got for him. A guy in my league has been losing and offered to trade me Demaryius for C.Patt, he said "to shake things up"
