My WR situation isn't amazing (Brown, Colston, Larry Fitz, Gordon) but I'm flush with RBs (Starters: Murray, McCoy Bench: Miller, Davis, McKinnon, Mathews, Crowell). I made it known that I'm willing to trade an RB for a WR. Buddy said he could part with Jeffrey, Cobb, or Benjamin for McCoy. Also indicated that he would consider parting with a combo of one of those guys and one of his bench players for Shady to make the deal. The bench players he has that are of any value are Vereen, P. Thomas, M. Wheaton, D. Brown, T. Smith. Shortly after our convo he offered Cobb for Shady. I feel like it might be a good deal, but I'm not sure. Having Cobb would be great, but I'm wary of getting trade-raped if/when Shady starts producing. I'm also not sure if maybe it would be better to try and get Jeffrey or Benjamin plus a bench player instead of just Cobb (something tells me he won't package Cobb), especially since if I trade away Shady I have to start Davis, McKinnon, or Crowell (Miller is on bye). Blasto95 Posted October 1, 2014 Share Posted October 1, 2014 I'd stay put I think. Your RBs are not stellar you've got Lamar miller who won't be starting In a few weeks along with some waiver adds. The more I thought about it after I posted the more I realized how dumb it would be to drop Shady when the rest of my RB corps is so mediocre. When I initially looked to trade I was thinking of something more along the lines of a RB2/3 for a WR2/3. Instead I was almost blinded by my desire for a decent WR.
