I benched him for LeVeon Bell and Ben Tate. Still won my game this week, but nice to see I may actually have to start about playing McCoy again. Also nice to think after this outing, I may be able to trade one of my 4 RBs (other one is Bradshaw) if I so choose to go after a WR.

Then again, it's nice to have the depth at RB, and free agent WRs in this particular league are fairly plentiful if one does one's homework.

No complaints at all about the yardage last nite, but someone please draw the dude a map to where the EZ is. On a more serious note, the 2 total stinker games so far in 2014 is what still has me a bit concerned about the rest of the season w/him ... in years past, he always seemed like a very consistent FF point scorer -- clearly not putting up 125/2...3/25/0 every week, but even on an 'off' day you could generally expect ~60 total yards and 3-4 catches, to salvage something from the position for your fantasy team. Having more than 2-3 of those days per season where a 'key starter' generates ~2 FF points for you are what keeps FF teams from making the FF playoffs.

Actually, I made myself curious, so I looked it up ... over the past few seasons, here are the total number of games per year where McCoy has been held to <75 total yards, <3 catches & zero TDs all in the same game:

-- 2010: 1 (of 15 games)

-- 2011: 1 (of 15 games)

-- 2012: 0 (of 16 games)

-- 2013: 0 (of 16 games)

-- 2014: 2 (of 5 games)

... so I guess if we have seen the end of his 'stinkers' for the season, we are good to go.

Updated report (from Roto) on Sproles:

Darren Sproles has been diagnosed with a slight MCL tear in his left knee and is expected to miss at least one game. Sproles' official timetable is 2-3 weeks. The Eagles are on a bye in Week 7, face the Cardinals in Week 8 and then the Texans in Week 9.
