marc1212
If he plays, would you guys start him? Would you start him over guys like Brandon Lafell and Brandin cooks?
kevin81mvp
of course......if he plays, and he will be okay. If he is not okay, Lions does not need to start him because next week is the bye week.
stevegrab
Not me, he's on my bench either way, not falling for another start and poor stats, had that happen once this year and a few times the last couple years. Especially with an early start, if he is a GTD decision not going to deal with that at 9AM when I'm just waking up. I started 2 WR (Demaryius and Royal) last night assuming that he'd be out or I'd be sitting. I can play one more, probably Fitz (or Matthews or Miles). If Calvin had been in my regular line-up plans already Royal would have been on the bench (he's been subbing for Calvin).

IMHO they're going to let him rest two more weeks.
MustOfBeenDrunk
If he plays Golden Tate goes even further up my rankings
kwolf68
If dressed you can't afford to not play him, but why wouldn't Detroit just rest him through their bye for the stretch run? Atlanta sucks and they can beat them easily.
keggerz
I just don't see CJ playing this week. I think the entire thing has been a ruse to make the Falcons have to prepare for him. Giving him this week and the bye off just makes too much sense. I traded for CJ this week with ZERO intention of starting him this week.

MothAudio
I hope the rest him another week but if they don't I will not start him. I'm starting Marshall, Hilton, Hopkins and Cooks instead.
Thews40
I'll prolly sit him this week. The decoy role, while probably worthy, doesn't bode well for FF. Graham is in the same boat. Do you miss the chance to grab the brass ring, or do you take your 9 points from a BU? Win or lose, if it comes down to 5 points, it's critical right now to get the W. keggerz
what'd you give? Marshawn Lynch and I got CJ and Andre Williams (not that I needed or really wanted him). Pre-Trade: My RBs: Murray, Lynch, Miller, Joique, Taliaferro, Jonas Gray & Charles Sims My WRs: Fitzgerald, Wallace, Roddy & Greg Jennings. We start 2RBs and 3WRs and I'm currently the 3rd highest scoring team (5-2) just 9 pts less than the highest scoring team. So I think it's easy to see that I need to upgrade my WR spot. I initially offered up Lamar Miller but he countered with the Lynch deal. Truth be told, I hate Lynch and Miller's upcoming schedules so decided to do the deal and gamble on CJ. kevin81mvp
ESPN's Ed Werder reports Lions coach Jim Caldwell is thinking "big picture" with Calvin Johnson (questionable, ankle), and is not expected to allow Johnson to play Sunday morning in London.
