This is my very first posting on this forum and i do indeed need some help in deciding whether or not the following trade is actual. We have an 8 person PPR league and the trade involves a guy whos (7-1) with a guy whos (2-6).

(7-1) Cam newton, Deandre Hopkins......for.......Phillip Rivers. (2-6)

The only reason i really have a hard time is because they are ROOMMATES. Iam the league manager and i can veto the trade or allow it.

It depends on their rosters/needs but that looks fair enough to me.

I hate commissioners who veto... unless it's Peyton for cj2k or something really ridiculous who are you know what's in their best interest? Cam could totally turn it around and Hopkins is out performing Andre Johnson... i have absolute no issues with that trade.

I never consider rosters for trades. Player for player, looks like a fair trade IMO.

This view makes no sense (in my opinion). If a team has a need, they will give up more than their fair share to fill that void.... sometimes sacrifices are made to round out a roster.

When I consider trades for myself, the roster is everything to me. But to think about fairness of a trade and whether or not to veto it, I don't think rosters should matter. It should be even for both sides player for player. It's up to them if it works out for their team or not.

That's just my opinion.
