Red Storm
With lacy's workload going down, potential blowout,is anyone starting Starks over lacy? I am def considering it, just curious if any others are too? Edited December 14, 2014 by Red Storm
Ripler66
I'm going lacy, who knows what happens? I like lacy inside the 5, so that's my hope
Red Storm
Anyone thinking if Green Bay gets up two or three scores Starks gets the workload?
coffeebreath
I think that depends on how hurt Lacy really is. I could see it happening, so that they don't risk aggravating the injury.
Red Storm
Would hate to start lacy and he only plays a quarter. Slmost thinking start both of them lol
coffeebreath
Thinking the same thing myself, though I do think he's the goal-line guy. Any other options out there? I've got Lacy too, and am really considering benching him outright...I just don't feel confident with him.
3downleague
Uh, I'm starting Lacy, I would rather lose for doing the right thing and having bad luck than because I overthought and did the wrong thing
Red Storm
If Starks gets the looks as he did last week , he should be geared up for similar this week
bpr103
Lacy. Even if they're up big and he sits after the first quarter, that means he's probably scored. And, this is exactly the kind of situation where the fantasy gods come crushing down on you: you start Starks and bench Lacy and Lacy goes for 200 yards and three TDs while Starks gets 4 carries. Lacy is their starter, he should be your starter.
coffeebreath
I just don't see lacy as a super safe play. I would probably try and look elsewhere if possible, but if you had to play one... I guess I might stick with lacy.
hezagenius
Playing both is way too risky. I'd play Lacy and hope for the best.
Red Storm
Last comment before I decide. I need a must win to go to championship. Do I play it safe with lacy or play it safe with Starks thinking they will both get about the same amount of point or carries
borge007
Uh, I'm starting Lacy, I would rather lose for doing the right thing and having bad luck than because I overthought and did the wrong thing Good idea-Don't do like I did last week and bench S. Smith/R. White for J. Thomas.
coffeebreath
If you're really down to just those two guys (nobody else on bench or waiver wire), Lacy, just for the goal line work early. Maybe he can grab you an early TD, so that if he does go out, you won't be left with nothing. But you can't start Starks out of fear at this point. IMO. 3downleague
It should not have been a tough choice. I'm not trying to be mean or a know-it-all, just stress the point.
Red Storm
Only an 11 point diff. Still a half to go. Will prob be a wash at the end of it.
3downleague
Maybe, and it's a free country, but for me I'm going with the stud every time
P2Nation21
Tough choice. Went with Starks. damn! Lacy had a nice game and didn't look limited to me!
Red Storm
Lacy looked really good. After all the flip flopping of Lacy and Starks, I went with Starks and lost my game by like 31 points. If I would have lost by 14 points or less I would be on suicide watch.
