Jim Harbaugh to . . . . . . . . THE COLTS?

Not as farfetched as you might think. Harbaugh has ties to the Colts and Andrew Luck. My source says it has been discussed. If Pagano's Colts get embarrassed in the Wild Card round . . . could it happen? Colts D and o-line have made very little progress in three years under Pagano. Colts already let Bruce Arians slip away . . . could Harbaugh be on the Colts radar?

I've heard the current thinking is that he would go to Michigan for a year and then return to the NFL. In this way whatever NFL team he goes to would not have to give up draft picks that they are likely going to need.

If he gets fired by the Niners, a team wouldn't still have to give up picks would they?

Will the Colts be willing to give him complete control of personnel decisions, and possibly other front office powers? I thought that was something he really needed/wanted.

Like others I've heard the strong Raiders/UM rumors too.

Ridiculous. The Colts are not going to fire a coach coming off a 2nd straight playoff appearance and a division title. Who thinks up this non-sense?

I'm telling you, it's not ridiculous, and has been discussed by the Colts management.

I don't see anyone saying the Colts didn't discuss it, people are saying its not going to happen

We shall see. A poor showing by the Colts over the next two weeks and Pagano will find himself on a very hot seat. Great motivational guy, but I've seen very little improvement in this team over the last three years. Not a great X's and O's guy, in my opinion.

I don't disagree, you're obviously more tuned into the Colts than us. It just seems crazy to think they would fire Pagano this yr...that's all. He was sick, everyone seems to love them, they just won the division...

I agree with this. Luck at QB hides a lot of issues, I think.
