I once wrote into Car Audio magazine as a bright-eyed 16 year old on the cusp of getting my first car and planning my "thumpin' system". All I got was a snarky reply, actually published in the magazine. I mean, people would write in (and would get published) with their "dream systems" or whatever they had in their ride. Mine was met with a "We can hardly wait" response. I actually wrote them back, telling them it was no way to respond to someone who spent their hard-earned money on their magazine. The editor sent me a personal letter of apology. Kind of a big deal back in 1991 when the internet was basically a twinkle in Al Gore's eye. OK back to your regularly scheduled programming.
