electricrelish Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) We lost one of the greats when retired UNC Tarheel basketball head coach passed at the age of 83 on Saturday, Feb 7, 2015. Personally, he was my favorite coach of all time and will be missed dearly. Smith's legacy will live on with his players, former assistant coaches and his vast influence and forever lasting impact to the game. S'long Coach. Footballjoe Posted February 8, 2015 Share Posted February 8, 2015 Great Coach. He will be missed. I use to watch a lot of ACC basketball in my younger days and UNC was one of my favorite teams.
