DMD
3 year deal for the 32 year old who re-unites with Kubiak. http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_27683697/te-owen-daniels-agrees-3-year-deal-broncos
Dolphin_Akie
Other risk is Virgil Green and Jacob Tamme taking snaps and targets along with the talented WRs. Dont think Daniels is a straight replacement for Thomas in fantasy terms myself.
irish
Great signing for Denver and Daniels!
MorningMud
As a Denver fan, I don't get the money in this deal. I am hoping that they see him as a mentor to Green. If they intend to use him as the starter (which the money suggests), I'm less then thrilled.
Tripleshot
Good player when healthy. He's just never healthy/ My money is on Green to break out.
gilthorp
My money is on Tamme still sucking.
stevegrab
My money is on Tamme still sucking. He had that one good stretch when replacing Clark with the Colts, I thought he would develop further, and then expected more when he was reunited with Peyton. I do recall Daniels being hurt a lot, but also recall he put up good numbers over some stretches. His injuries are really limited to 3 years (2009 missed 8 games, 2010-5, 2013-11). Not sure why michaelredd9 focuses soley on TDs, even in fantasy there is more to the production of a player than that. Are his other numbers down too from the first few games to the rest? I don't see it, in fact in 2010 when he did squat his best 2 games came in the last few weeks (after he apparently returned from injury) http://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/D/DaniOw00/gamelog// He may not be a replacement for Thomas, but then how many TE not named Gronk/Graham would be.
